ABOUT THE FILM:
Inspired by an unbelievable true story, I Love My Dad follows Chuck (Patton Oswalt), an estranged father desperate to reconnect with his son, Franklin (James Morosini). After being blocked on social media, Chuck creates a fake online identity to stay in touch with him. But when Franklin falls in love with the imaginary woman, things spiral hilariously out of control. Written and directed by Morosini, this outrageous dark comedy won both the Grand Jury and Audience Awards at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
