An evening of heroism and history featuring the exclusive screening of “Sardari’s Enigma.” Special guests will be in attendance.

About the Filmmaker/Mahdieh Zardiny:
Mahdieh Zardiny, An artist & founder of Universe22 Btc & Art, has over 12 years experience in writing and directing documentaries and narrative short films. Through the art of visualization, she seeks to illuminate stories that are untold or overlooked. Zardiny earned her Master’s degree in Filmmaking from Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2012, her short film An Iranian in Paris was screened at the Cine-Rencontres de Prades Film Festival and broadcast on Voice of America (VOA). The following year, her documentary Big Red J was featured at the Cannes Corner Film Festival.
About the Moderator/Karmel Melamed:
Karmel Melamed, An award-winning journalist, activist, and attorney based in Los Angeles.Since 2000, he has given voice to Iranian-American communities and covered issues related to Iran and the Middle East. His work has been featured in The Jerusalem Post, Jewish News Syndicate, Times of Israel, Newsweek, and Los Angeles Magazine. Melamed was honored with the Simon Rockower Journalism Award (2025) for excellence in news reporting.
